Who we are

Kenya National Reit

Kenya National Reit, operates as a unique entity structured as a company limited by guarantee. This distinctive organizational framework is purposefully designed to catalyze the development of infrastructure in Kenya.

The primary goal of KNR is to serve as a driving force in the infrastructure landscape. It adopts a two-fold approach; stimulating demand for infrastructure projects while concurrently encouraging the supply of these essential assets. This dual strategy positions KNR as a pivotal player in the country's economic growth and development.

One of the key instruments through which KNR achieves its mission is by leveraging Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs) and Infrastructure Investment Trusts (INVITs). REITs provide a vehicle for pooling investments into real estate, including housing and other property-related ventures, while INVITs serve a similar purpose but focus on infrastructure assets like transportation, energy, water, and information technology.

By harnessing the power of REITs and INVITs, KNR facilitates the flow of capital into crucial infrastructure projects. This not only addresses the country's pressing need for improved infrastructure but also offers investment opportunities to individuals, institutional investors, and other stakeholders looking to contribute to the nation's development.
